Yeah, the complex is not accessible if it has rain in prior days. There is a big trench wider than the road about after 100 th st. So, if one does not own a truck or 4×4 .. out of luck , cause the trench is 2 to 2.5 feet deep and 6 feet across. Called the office but did not seem concerned.. I guess being government operated means no one cares about clients or profit. Also, asked if I could enter by second entrance .. was told there was gate there and was locked. I naively asked “if could be open .. they said no! Just drive thru water pit?!
Yeah, cause it be hilariously to have a My car stuck in a water trench/pit! NOT!

They really need to do something about that access road. Unless you have a 4X4, it’s terrible even when it’s dry.

I’ve been going there for a few years and yes, impossible access and yes they know it. There are two water collection areas that require connection, hence the flooding after rain. The engineering for the road and most importantly the culvert for the water, have the funds allocated. So it happens when it happens. That being said, I have a lowered sedan, and if the waters not too high, traverse it on a 45+degree and you’ll be fine. It’s really a well run range which will be better once access is improved.

OK so who the hell is monitoring these posts besides the users/customers? I keep being told that the paving of the road has gone out to bid. That is very nice but maybe in the meantime a culvert is placed across the road and that hole filled in. Then hire a contractor to grade the road every two weeks. I drive a Genesis Coupe and it’ll run through the water with a wave washing over the hood but it is totally ridiculous after spending the money on this nice facility. It is maddening!
I like that it is almost always quite on the pistol range but my car is going to fall apart!
Lets get our crap together PBC!!!
    Thank you,
